Zarla & Co (EST. 2019) is a handmade pet and people accessories business
located in Batemans Bay, NSW Australia.

All of our accessories are 100% handmade; this means that each accessory is
made special for you when you place an order.

What we stand for...

At Zarla & Co we strive to create sustainable fashion pieces for you and
your pooch that are high quality, size inclusive and have a low environmental
impact.

Sustainable Fashion

Sustainable fashion is a movement that puts quality over quantity and
comprises of; local sourcing and production, and traceability of work processes
and raw materials.

Mass production of textiles (fast fashion) is causing significant
environmental impacts and most end up in landfill.

When purchasing our accessories, you can be assured that they are 100%
handmade in Australia, high quality, produced on a small scale and have a low
environmental impact.

Inclusivity

At Zarla & Co, we try our absolute best to create accessories for
pooches of all sizes! From chihuahuas to great danes, we want all breeds to be
able to wear our accessories.

Meet The Owner

My name is Taylah and I am a 25 year old self-taught sewist. My inspiration
for starting Zarla & Co was my pug Zarla who loves to get dressed up and
pose for the camera. I have always had a passion for anything and everything
creative, and I love to learn different creative skills.

I undertake all aspects of my business including; designing, sewing,
choosing new fabrics, running social medias, running website, packaging orders,
etc.

Outside of Zarla & Co, I work full time as a hairdresser.

Meet The Boss Pups

Zarla (pictured: right) is a 6 year old black pug who is the inspiration
behind Zarla & Co, and obviously how the name came to be. Zarla is such a
playful, kind hearted pup who loves her little brother Ziggy. She loves going
for walks on the beach dressed up in her accessories! She also loves stirring
up Ziggy, especially when he is quiet.

Ziggy (pictured: left) is a 2 year old fawn pug. Ziggy is such a crazy
little boy with a mischievous nature (although he hates to get in trouble).
Ziggy is less keen to model, unless there are treats involved.
